Lacey was taken from us too early due
to an infection in her liver.
I feel lucky that I got to hold her and tell her
how much I loved her as she went peacefully to sleep.
Not only was Lacey beautiful and full
of wonderful type, she was so gentle, sweet and kind.
In the 9 1/2 years she
lived, I never once heard her growl.
She was a wonderful mother to her puppies
and the dog I called "my good child".
She never ever did one single thing wrong
in her entire life.
Lacey had many Specialty placements and
wins including Best Veteran and Best Veteran in Sweeps at the JSLRC Specialty in
Sept. 2007. She also won Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes at the
Mid-Jersey Specialty in 2006. Through the years she had several placements at
the prestigious Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac including the 7-9 Veteran
Bitch Class in 2007, as well as, the Brood Bitch Class in 2003 and 2004. Lacey
also won an Award of Merit in 2002 at the Mid-Jersey Specialty.
Rest in Peace sweet Lacey. Daddy
and I love you so much.
